Taking a break from my kitchen gadgets to say that I finally got the curtain’s up in the baby’s room! No more towels hung up with clothespins in the window!

Thanks to some rain earlier in the week, we discovered our stupid carport roof was rotting.  So all our weekend plans went out the window and operation reroof the carport went into effect.

We moved into our house two Christmases ago. Last spring I had a lot of fun seeing what came up out of the ground. I guess I missed some things. This year I found two lilac bushes that had been hidden by the shed. They didn’t get any flowers, but I’m hoping now that they’re out in the sun, they’ll get healthier. Then, today, I found these daffodils. The flowers are tiny compared to normal daffodils. I absolutely adore them.

This weekend was devoted to painting the nursery.
