My chives got a haircut today.

The rain is taking a toll on my tomatoes, too. I think this is Septoria Leaf Spot. A fungus that likes wet conditions. I hope I have enough good leaves still to get some tomatoes. Only two of my four plants seem to be badly affected. So far.

Summer fun. Except I can’t seem to bring myself to use water just for fun, so I had to water the garden at the same time. She still got plenty wet, I promise.

Despite the storms yesterday, we got a quick strawberry picking session in.  Today I attempted a strawberry rhubarb pie.  I don’t make many pies, much to the dismay of my husband.  I think it turned out ok, but I could use some practice.  That was my first ever lattice top.
