My mother collects Delft. I found these cow salt and pepper shakers and gave them to her for Christmas one year. They crack me up and I kind of wish I’d kept them for myself.

I made banana bread. It was a new recipe and quite yummy. I kind of wish I hadn’t have cut that slice for the picture. First of all, I can never cut a straight, even slice, so that annoys me. But I also think it would have been a better picture without the out-of-focus slice distracting from the rest of the loaf.
